Flight Foil

Foiling has taken off around the globe and offers a new challenge to the surf craft tamers who need their daily aquatic fix... and why not mix surfing and gliding with the swells like a flying fish would do…! We can now take flight with the new ECS Flight model.

The Flight has an EPS Epoxy construction is very durable and ready for your learning curve. The design incorporates a rolled nose rail entry with a concave centre and tail to give some initial lift, release and safe nose recovery if you get a bit of porpoising happening in the early learning stages.

Take Flight

We've added a concave deck to increase rail volume and paddling stability on this short flyer. The idea is to pop onto the wave in a cork-like fashion and the Flight is high volume and ready for take-off. The short 5'5" length of the Flight enables you to get some pump-action going, so those with some heart muscle and big lungs can do multiple loops of wave riding and returns to the peak, repeat, without stopping for chit-chat.

Another obvious feature is the tunnel through the bottom which creates the correct trim angle for the foil mast attachment plate. It also adds a bit of directional stability when paddling and in between hops.
